New ISER Population Projections

The University of Alaska Anchorage Institute for Social and Economic Research (ISER) issued new state and Anchorage-region population projections in its December 2009 report entitled Economic and Demographic Projections for Alaska and Greater Anchorage 2010-2035 by Scott Goldsmith. Key changes from the ISER 2005 population projections developed for the Knik Arm Bridge and Toll Authority are reductions in population projections for the state (-43%), for Anchorage and the Mat-Su together (-38.5%) and for the Mat-Su (-34.755%).
